What is the North Bay Cedar Log Stool made from?

The North Bay Cedar Log Stool is crafted from solid white cedar, a wood known for its natural character, distinctive grain and rustic appearance. Natural knots and variations in the wood help make each stool unique.

What heights are available?

The North Bay Cedar Log Stool is available in 24-inch counter height and 30-inch bar height. The 24-inch stool works well with many kitchen counters and islands, while the 30-inch stool is designed for taller bar-height surfaces.

How do I choose between a 24-inch and 30-inch cedar stool?

Measure from the floor to the underside of your counter or bar. A 24-inch counter stool is generally suited to standard counter-height surfaces, while a 30-inch bar stool works better with taller bar-height surfaces. Be sure to allow comfortable space between the seat and the underside of your counter.

Can the cedar log stool be used outdoors?

Yes. The North Bay Cedar Log Stool can be ordered unfinished for outdoor use. White cedar is well suited to rustic outdoor settings, although exposure to weather will naturally change the appearance of the wood over time.

Can I use this stool indoors?

Absolutely. A finished North Bay Cedar Log Stool makes a distinctive seating option for kitchens, islands, home bars, recreation rooms, cottages, cabins and log homes.

Will every cedar log stool look exactly the same?

No—and that is part of the character of genuine solid wood furniture. Natural variations in white cedar, including knots, grain patterns and colour differences, mean that no two stools will be completely identical.

What style of furniture works well with this stool?

The North Bay Cedar Log Stool pairs especially well with rustic, cottage, cabin and log furniture. Its simple solid-cedar construction also makes it easy to coordinate with other natural wood furniture.

Is the North Bay Cedar Log Stool available in Ontario?

Yes. Cinnamon Cabin Co. offers the North Bay Cedar Log Stool for customers looking for cedar log furniture in Ontario, including rustic seating for homes, cottages and cabins.
