Bring the natural character of Ontario craftsmanship into your kitchen, cottage or cabin with the North Bay Branded Back Log Bar Stool. Handcrafted from cedar, this distinctive stool features a solid log frame paired with a decorative branded wood back for a rustic look with plenty of personality.

Unlike our other North Bay stool styles, the defining feature of this stool is its branded back design. It provides an attractive decorative detail while preserving the warm, natural appearance that makes log furniture at home in cottages, cabins, log homes and rustic interiors.

Choose a Fixed or Swivel Seat

Customize your branded back log bar stool with either a fixed or swivel seat.

The fixed option offers traditional stationary seating and solid simplicity. The swivel option allows the seat to turn, providing convenient movement when used around a kitchen island, counter or home bar.

Both options feature the same distinctive branded-back styling and handcrafted cedar log construction.

24" Counter Height or 30" Bar Height

Choose the height that best fits your space:

24-inch counter height – a practical choice for many kitchen counters and islands.

30-inch bar height – designed for taller bars and elevated counters.

We recommend measuring from the floor to the underside of your counter or bar before ordering to determine the best stool height for your space.

Decorative Branded Back Designs

The decorative wood back is what gives this North Bay stool its individual character. Choose from available branded-back designs to complement your cottage, cabin, recreational room or rustic kitchen.

The combination of the branded wood design and natural cedar frame creates a stool that is both functional seating and an attractive addition to the room.

Natural Cedar Character

Each stool showcases the natural beauty of real cedar. Variations in grain, knots, colour and other characteristics mean no two stools will look exactly alike. Rather than trying to hide these differences, the North Bay design allows the natural character of the wood to become part of the finished piece.

Mennonite Crafted in Ontario

The North Bay Branded Back Log Bar Stool is Mennonite crafted in Ontario, Canada, with an emphasis on solid construction, traditional woodworking and the beauty of natural wood.

Whether placed along a cottage kitchen island, cabin counter or rustic home bar, this handcrafted stool offers a distinctive alternative to ordinary mass-produced seating.

Choose your branded-back design, fixed or swivel seat, 24-inch or 30-inch height, and preferred finish to create a North Bay stool suited to your space.

What makes the North Bay Branded Back Bar Stool unique?

The North Bay Branded Back Bar Stool combines a sturdy cedar log frame with a decorative branded wood back. The branded design gives the stool a distinctive rustic appearance that works especially well in cottages, cabins, log homes, kitchens and recreational spaces.

Can I order this bar stool with either a fixed or swivel seat?

Yes. The North Bay Branded Back Cedar Log Bar Stool is available with your choice of a fixed seat or swivel seat. The fixed version provides traditional stationary seating, while the swivel option allows the seat to turn for easier movement at a counter, island or bar.

What heights are available?

Choose between 24-inch counter height and 30-inch bar height. We recommend measuring the height of your counter or bar before ordering to determine which option will provide the best fit.

What is the difference between the Branded Back and Cut-Out Back stools?

The Branded Back Stool features a decorative design applied to the wood back, while our North Bay Cut-Out Back Stool features a design physically cut into the back. Both provide rustic seating, but the different back treatments create noticeably different looks.

Is this stool suitable for a cottage or log home?

Yes. The combination of natural cedar logs and a decorative branded back makes this stool particularly well suited to Ontario cottages, cabins, log homes and rustic interiors. It can also add natural wood character to a more contemporary kitchen or home bar.

Will every cedar log stool look exactly the same?

No. Natural variations in the wood mean that grain patterns, knots, colour and other characteristics can differ from stool to stool. These variations are part of the character of furniture made from real wood rather than a defect.

Where is the North Bay Branded Back Bar Stool made?

The North Bay Branded Back Cedar Log Bar Stool is Mennonite crafted in Ontario, Canada using traditional woodworking and solid construction.

Can I order several matching stools?

Yes. Multiple stools can be ordered for a kitchen counter, island, bar or entertainment area. Because cedar is a natural material, there may still be attractive variations in grain, knots and colour between individual stools.

How do I choose between a fixed and swivel stool?

A fixed stool is a good choice if you prefer simple, traditional seating with fewer moving components. A swivel stool provides additional movement and can make getting into and out of the stool easier, particularly around a kitchen island or bar.

Can I coordinate this stool with other North Bay Log Furniture?

Yes. The Branded Back Bar Stool can be coordinated with other pieces from our North Bay Log Furniture Collection to create a consistent rustic look throughout a cottage, cabin, log home or recreational space.
