A Natural Touch of Ontario Craftsmanship for Your Home
There's something special about furniture that allows the natural beauty of wood to take centre stage. The Cambridge Solid Pine Live Edge Bench & Coffee Table brings that warmth and character into your home with its distinctive natural edges, beautiful pine grain, and simple, versatile design.
Handcrafted by Mennonite furniture makers right here in Ontario, this piece celebrates the unique shapes and markings found in real wood. Rather than cutting away every natural irregularity to create a perfectly uniform appearance, the live edge preserves some of the wood's original character.
The result is a piece of furniture that feels welcoming, authentic, and just a little different from anything else in your home.
One Beautiful Piece, Two Practical Uses
One of the nicest features of the Cambridge is its versatility.
As a live edge coffee table, its approximately 51-inch length provides an attractive surface for books, drinks, decorative accents, or a favourite centrepiece. At just 18 inches high, it fits naturally into a living room seating arrangement, bringing a relaxed, rustic feel to the space.
As a solid pine bench, its long, narrow design offers another furniture option for an entryway, hallway, covered seating area, or wherever its dimensions and construction are appropriate.
The Cambridge is particularly appealing in homes where furniture needs to be both useful and beautiful. Its natural appearance complements farmhouse, cottage, rustic, and country-inspired interiors, while the uncomplicated design also works well alongside more contemporary furnishings.
Every Live Edge Piece Has Its Own Personality
No two trees grow exactly alike, and that's part of what makes live edge furniture so appealing.
The Cambridge is crafted from solid pine, allowing the wood's natural grain patterns, colour variations, and distinctive edges to become part of the finished furniture.
One piece may feature a slightly different edge contour or grain pattern than another. These variations are not flaws to be hidden; they're part of the individuality that makes natural wood furniture interesting.
Because of these natural differences, the dimensions may vary slightly from piece to piece.
