Get more flexibility from your bedroom space with the Kerwood Cedar Log Twin Over Queen Bunk Bed. Made in Ontario from cedar, this practical configuration combines a Twin sleeping area on top with a spacious Queen bed below, making it an excellent choice for cottages, cabins, bunkies, guest rooms and family homes.

The mixed mattress sizes provide a useful alternative to conventional bunks. The upper level adds another place to sleep without requiring a separate bed frame, while the larger lower bed provides extra room for adults, couples or anyone who appreciates a more generous sleeping area.

Two Sizes, One Practical Layout

The upper bunk is designed for a standard Twin/Single mattress, while the lower level accommodates a Queen mattress.

This combination works particularly well at the family cottage. The lower bed can comfortably accommodate parents or adult guests, while the upper bunk provides another sleeping space for a child, teenager or individual guest. It is equally useful in a bunkie or guest room where sleeping arrangements may change from one visit to the next.

Overall Bunk Bed Dimensions

The overall dimensions are:

65"W × 92"L × 72"H

With a footprint of approximately 65 inches wide by 92 inches long, the bed provides two different sleeping areas in one stacked arrangement. At 72 inches high, room and ceiling clearance should be considered when choosing its location.

Natural Cedar

Cedar gives this log bunk bed the knots, grain, colour variations and individual log shapes associated with real wood furniture. These natural differences give each finished piece subtle character of its own.

Available stain and finish choices allow you to select a wood tone that complements your room and existing furnishings.

More Sleeping Space Without Another Bed

This twin over queen log bunk bed is especially useful when you need additional sleeping capacity but don't want multiple bed frames taking up the room. The combination of a roomy lower bed and compact upper bunk makes efficient use of available floor space.

An optional side ladder is available for convenient access to the upper level.

It can also be coordinated with Kerwood log nightstands, dressers and other bedroom furniture for a complete log bedroom setting.

What mattress sizes does this Kerwood bunk bed use?

The upper bunk is designed for a standard Twin/Single mattress, while the lower level accommodates a Queen mattress. This combination provides an additional sleeping area above while keeping the larger bed below.

What are the overall dimensions?

The Kerwood bunk bed measures approximately 65"W × 92"L × 72"H. We recommend measuring the room and checking ceiling clearance before ordering, particularly when the bed will be placed in a cottage bedroom, bunkie or room with a lower ceiling.

Why choose a Twin and Queen combination?

This arrangement offers more flexibility than a conventional bunk bed with matching mattress sizes. The Queen lower bed provides additional room for adults or couples, while the Twin upper bunk gives you another sleeping space without requiring a separate bed elsewhere in the room.

Is this bunk bed suitable for a cottage or bunkie?

Yes. Its combination of two mattress sizes makes it particularly useful for cottages, cabins, bunkies and guest rooms where different family members and guests may use the room throughout the year.

Is a side ladder available?

Yes. An optional side ladder is available for access to the upper bunk. This can be a useful choice when planning the bed's placement and available space around it.

Can I choose a different stain or finish?

Yes. A selection of stain and finish options is available, allowing you to choose a wood tone that works with your bedroom décor and other furniture.

Does the cedar look exactly the same on every bunk bed?

No. Natural variations in knots, grain, colour and log shape are expected with genuine cedar. These differences are part of the wood rather than defects and mean that each finished bunk bed will have its own subtle character.

Can I match this bed with other Kerwood bedroom furniture?

Yes. It coordinates naturally with Kerwood log nightstands, dressers and other bedroom furniture, making it easy to furnish the rest of the room in a consistent log style.

Where is this Kerwood log bunk bed made?

The Kerwood Cedar Log Twin Over Queen Bunk Bed is made in Ontario, Canada, providing a Canadian-made option for customers furnishing cottages, cabins and homes.
