There is something special about gathering around a dining table. Whether it's Sunday dinner with family, a Thanksgiving celebration, Christmas with loved ones, or an ordinary evening sharing stories, the dining table is often where some of life's most treasured memories are made. But what happens when your family grows, unexpected guests arrive, or you simply need a little more room? That's where an expandable solid wood dining table becomes a wonderful addition to your home

At Cinnamon Cabin Co, we believe furniture should be more than something that fills a room. It should bring warmth to your home, welcome family and friends, and become part of the memories you make together. Our Niagara Saw-Marked and Rustic Expandable Dining Tables celebrate the natural beauty of solid wood while offering the practical flexibility that busy households need.

Some of the best moments in life happen around a table. It’s where the family gathers after a long day. It’s where Sunday dinner is served, birthdays are celebrated, Thanksgiving meals seem to stretch well into the afternoon, and friends stay for “just one more cup of coffee.” That is what we love about the Waterloo Harvest Table from Cinnamon Cabin Co. Built from solid wood, it is made for more than simply filling a dining room. It is made for gathering people together.

In September, Christmas feels comfortably far away. There’s still time to enjoy fall colours, rake a few leaves, eat some Thanksgiving turkey, and tell yourself that Christmas shopping is a problem for Future You. Then suddenly it’s December 18th. The tree is up, the family is coming, somebody needs a place to sleep, and you’re wondering whether Santa’s workshop happens to build solid wood dining tables. Unfortunately, we haven’t found Santa’s wholesale number yet.

If you have been shopping for solid wood furniture in Ontario, you have probably come across the term Mennonite furniture. You may have seen beautiful solid wood dining tables, beds, chairs and bedroom sets and wondered what actually makes Mennonite-made furniture different. Is it simply a style of furniture? Is it the way it is built? Is it really worth buying? At Cinnamon Cabin Co, we believe the difference goes much deeper than appearance.

Perfectly smooth furniture has its place. But sometimes the little imperfections are what make a piece worth noticing. At Cinnamon Cabin Co, we love solid wood furniture that still looks and feels like real wood. One of the best ways to preserve that natural character is through a rough-sawn or saw-marked finish. Instead of sanding away every trace of the woodworking process, saw-marked furniture allows some of those distinctive lines and textures to remain visible.

When you’re shopping for a solid wood dresser in Ontario, it can be difficult to tell the difference between a piece of furniture that simply looks good in the showroom and one that will still look good decades from now. At Cinnamon Cabin Co, we believe a good dresser should be more than temporary furniture. Here are seven things to consider when shopping for a quality solid wood dresser.

At Cinnamon Cabin Co., we like furniture that arrives looking like furniture. If you're shopping for solid wood furniture in Ontario, one question you're likely asking is: What wood stain colour is trending in 2026? While trends come and go, the beauty of solid wood furniture is that the right stain can remain stylish for decades. At Cinnamon Cabin Co., we work with handcrafted Mennonite furniture built to stand the test of time, and we're seeing some clear favourites emerge this year.

When choosing furniture for your home, few pieces are used as often as dining chairs. From family meals and holiday gatherings to homework sessions and conversations over coffee, dining chairs play an important role in everyday life. That's why investing in comfortable solid wood dining chairs made in Ontario is a decision that offers lasting value, beauty, and functionality.

When furnishing a bedroom, value is about more than price alone. True value comes from quality craftsmanship, long-lasting durability, timeless design, and furniture that continues to serve your family beautifully year after year. The Huron Bedroom Collection from Cinnamon Cabin Co was designed with exactly that in mind.

When it comes to furnishing your dining space, finding the perfect balance between durability, style, and affordability can feel like a challenge. The London Mission Dining Chair, proudly offered by Cinnamon Cabin Co, brings all three together in a way that fits beautifully into homes across Ontario. Built from solid wood and crafted with intention, this chair is designed not just to look good—but to live well with your family.

Minimalist décor is rooted in the idea that less truly is more. Clean lines, uncluttered spaces, and purposeful furniture pieces define the style. The Dashwood solid wood pedestal table embodies this philosophy perfectly. With its smooth round top and single pedestal base, it eliminates visual noise and creates a calm, balanced focal point in any dining space.

When it comes to finding custom solid wood furniture in Ontario, homeowners are searching for more than just a place to buy a table or bed—they’re looking for quality, craftsmanship, and pieces that truly feel like home. At Cinnamon Cabin Co., we believe furniture should tell a story, last for generations, and reflect the warmth and character of your space.

If you're shopping for a solid wood dresser in Ontario, you’ve probably noticed a big difference in quality — and price. Some dressers last five years. Others last fifty. At Cinnamon Cabin Co., we believe furniture should be built once and built right. Here’s what Ontario homeowners should look for when investing in a high-quality, Canadian-made dresser.

A solid wood sideboard is a timeless storage piece commonly used in dining rooms, living rooms, and entryways throughout Canadian homes. Designed to combine function, durability, and craftsmanship, a sideboard offers generous storage while adding warmth and character that only real wood can provide. At Cinnamon Cabin Co, our solid wood sideboards are handcrafted in Ontario with an emphasis on longevity—built to serve your home for decades, not years.

A solid wood coffee table is more than just a piece of furniture—it’s a gathering place. It’s where morning coffee is poured, stories are shared, and everyday life unfolds. When your coffee table is Canadian-made from real solid wood, it’s built to last for generations—but like anything of lasting value, it deserves thoughtful care.

When customers visit Cinnamon Cabin Co., one of the common questions we hear is: Will a solid wood bed frame actually last longer? It’s an important question—especially when choosing between mass-produced furniture and a handcrafted solid wood bed built to stand the test of time. The simple answer is yes. A properly built solid wood bed frame will last significantly longer than MDF, veneer, or metal alternatives.

When Canadians shop for a dining table, one question comes up more than any other: Is a solid wood dining table worth the price? In Ontario homes especially, where furniture must withstand changing seasons, busy family life, and long winters indoors, the decision matters. At Cinnamon Cabin Co., we believe a solid wood dining table isn’t just worth the price—it’s one of the smartest long-term investments you can make for your home.

At Cinnamon Cabin Co, we believe Christmas furniture should be strong enough to handle real life—family gatherings, laughter, crumbs, and yes, the occasional spilled gravy. That’s why we focus on Canadian-made solid wood furniture, built to last longer than the fruitcake no one admits they regift every year.
