If you have been shopping for solid wood furniture in Ontario, you have probably come across the term Mennonite furniture. You may have seen beautiful solid wood dining tables, beds, chairs and bedroom sets and wondered what actually makes Mennonite-made furniture different. Is it simply a style of furniture? Is it the way it is built? Is it really worth buying? At Cinnamon Cabin Co, we believe the difference goes much deeper than appearance.

If you're shopping for solid wood furniture in Ontario, one question you're likely asking is: What wood stain colour is trending in 2026? While trends come and go, the beauty of solid wood furniture is that the right stain can remain stylish for decades. At Cinnamon Cabin Co., we work with handcrafted Mennonite furniture built to stand the test of time, and we're seeing some clear favourites emerge this year.

When it comes to creating a warm and welcoming dining space, few pieces of furniture can compare to a solid wood farmhouse dining table.
